Commentary
It was fairly cold and sunny today. The route was mostly on pavement apart from just before Elmers End.
I visited two LFB fire stations – Woodside and New Beckenham. Neither of these had signage showing their names.
I had a navigational mishap at Clock House station whereby I didn’t carry on down the road to Beckenham fire station. I realised my mistake when I got to Kent House station. Having checked a map using my phone I had to backtrack to Clock House and walk down the road to the fire station. After that instead of backtracking the backtrack I used the Epix sat nav capability to follow a shorter route to New Beckenham station.
