Commentary

It was cold today, 6C feels like 2C but I didn’t experience any windchill.
I was wearing 2 pairs of tights with thermal ones underneath and 3 top layers
and didn’t feel hot or cold.

Today was the first time I included London Fire Brigade fire stations in a National Rail walk. I visited Mitcham, Sutton and Wimbledon stations.

Today was the first time I’ve seen an Aston Martin DBS Superleggera. It was parked in a non descript side street in Wimbledon and I took some photos which can be seen in the photo gallery for this walk.

Wimbledon Chase station has a lot of interesting murals in the tunnel leading from the station entrance to the platforms. Sutton High Street also has a few interesting features. See the photo gallery for pictures of some of these.
